April Magazine Media 360° Brand Audience Report Data Is Here: Total Audience up +2.5% Versus April 2017
The April Magazine Media 360° Brand Audience Report shows that Total Audience is up +2.5% versus April 2017 for the 119 magazine brands in the analysis. Both Mobile Web (+9.9%) and Video (+26.5%) are reporting six-month highs. The Print+Digital audience (-1.7%) remains stable, consistent with the five months prior since GfK MRI Fall 2017 was released. Web (Desktop/Laptop) audience (-4.7%) is continuing downward trend as audiences favor other platforms, however, the declines are slowing, and are far less severe than for 2017 year-to-date which showed double-digit percentage drops in the Web audiences.
Ohio State Alumni Q&A: Linda Thomas Brooks
Before joining MPA in January 2016, Brooks was co-founder and president of GearDigital, a data-driven integrated agency. Throughout her career, Brooks has developed media and marketing strategies for well-known brands and companies such as General Motors, GEICO, Johnson & Johnson and The American Cancer Society. She is still involved with The Ohio State University through serving in advisory roles for the Buckeye Leadership Fellows Program and the College of Arts and Sciences. Penthouse May Be Bought by High Times Suitor
Adam Levin, whose Oreva Capital agreed to buy High Times in mid-2017, formed a company called Dream Media Corp., which took over a secured 2-year-old $10 million loan to Penthouse that was in default. It is believed there are several other potential suitors. Levin’s bid is said to come in at $3 million at auction, sources said.
