The June 2017 Magazine Media 360° Brand Audience Report Is Here!
MPA—The Association of Magazine Media has released the Magazine Media 360° Brand Audience Report for June 2017. In year-over-year comparisons, the recent trends continue. Print+ Digital (+3.8%) and Video (+24.6%) are up while Web (-10.5%) and Mobile are down (-4.3%). The report covers 126 magazine brands across 30 companies.

For the 2nd Quarter of 2017, total magazine industry Followers/Likes on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest now number 1.1 billion, up 4.5% versus last quarter. Facebook, the largest by far of the four tracked social media networks, continues to see its quarter-to-quarter growth rate slow down. Instagram and Twitter are the fastest growing of the tracked social media platforms for magazine media (+8% and +6% respectively quarter-over-quarter.)

“The MPA’s IMAG community prides itself on sharing and learning from one another,” said Andy Clurman, President and CEO of Active Interest Media and Chair of the IMAG Financial Benchmarking Study. “As a board, we thought a benchmarking study would be the ideal way to provide member companies with key metrics to better understand how their performance compares to similar companies.” The survey was conducted in the last quarter of 2016 by Mazars USA, a global accounting firm. Only open to members of the IMAG community, participants received two sets of detailed results: one for all respondents and one broken down by revenue tier.
