Linda Thomas Brooks, who was tapped to be the new CEO of MPA, the Association of Magazine Media, is putting the finishing touches on the association’s annual powwow in New York in less than two weeks — when everyone from First Lady Michelle Obama to AOL Chief Executive Tim Armstrong and Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel are slated to appear.

Hearst Magazines UK, the publisher of Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar, has introduced Shared Spaces in the UK. A new digital advertising product which enables commercial partners to inhabit the same spaces as editorial content, Shared Spaces has been a key revenue driver for Hearst Digital Media since its launch in the U.S. in January 2014.
