NTVB Media, which recently purchased TV Guide, has acquired events company AmpitLive, founded by Paul Turcotte. As a result of the deal, Turcotte has been named publisher and chief revenue officer of TV Guide.

MPA’s sold out Mobile Matters conference, features an all-star speaker lineup that includes Vice President and General Manager Kimberly Lau of The Atlantic. Lau joined The Atlantic in 2012 to oversee digital strategy and operations. During her tenure, traffic on has grown more than 108% and she’s overseen consolidation and strengthening of the brand’s technical platforms including embracing testing and optimization, mobile, video and a focus on ad viewability. Most recently, Lau lead the effort to test Facebook’s Instant Articles initiative and Apple’s News Application. Before joining The Atlantic, Lau was vice president of business development for Hearst Magazines Digital Media.
