See Where Your Magazine Media Brand Grew Across Platforms! October 2014 Magazine Media 360° Brand Audience Data Available - Along with First Ever Monthly Averages for the Quarter
Average monthly magazine media audiences grew 9.8% for the months of August, September and October 2014 versus the same months in 2013, according to the Magazine Media 360° Brand Audience Report, released today by MPA-The Association of Magazine Media. This new report, which uses data from leading third-party providers, reveals an average gross audience for magazine brands of 1.50 billion in August/September/October 2014 (1.53 billion including brands for which prior year data was incomplete), up 9.8% over the same months in 2013 (1.37 billion). The strong quarterly performance was powered by video and mobile web consumption, up 59.2% and 90.8%, respectively, over the same quarter in 2013. In 2000, American Profile and O, The Oprah Magazine were named co-launches of the year.
Bloomberg Celebrated 85 Years of Businessweek Under the Great Whale
Last night, George Lucas, Henry Kissinger and Harvey Weinstein could all be found a cocktail olive’s throw away from Michael Bloomberg, our former mayor, to toast the 85th Anniversary of Bloomberg Businessweek at the American Museum of Natural History. The Bloomberg conglomerate was also celebrating another anniversary: it’s been five years since it acquired the business magazine from McGraw Hill. Since that time, editor Josh Tyrangiel has turned the magazine into a buzzier read, punching up the title with creative design and bold covers.

Google: More Than 56% Of Ad Impressions Are Not Seen
Since an ad served does not necessarily equal an ad viewed, Google conducted a study of its display advertising platforms Google and DoubleClick, which revealed that 56.1% of all impressions Google measured in a recent study were not seen, and the average publisher's viewability rate came in at 50.2%.
