People Magazine Plans Special Second Cover for Its 40th Anniversary Issue
The second cover will present images from People covers during the last four decades and at the bottom carry an ad for L’Oréal.

Scotty Lachenauer writing for Hot Rod Magazine reports: "After a cold front dropped precipitation during (Saturday's) The Race of Gentlemen event Day 1, the Jersey shore was greeted with clear skies and sunshine with temperatures in the 40s when the hot rod racers hit the sandy beach... But Fall in the air didn't dissuade spectators from pouring into the event grounds by the thousands."
