Remembering John Mack Carter
The American Society of Magazine Editors mourns the passing of John Mack Carter. Mr. Carter was a founding member of ASME and was president of the Society from 1990 to 1992. He received MPA’s Henry Johnson Fisher lifetime achievement award in 1989 and was inducted into the Magazine Editors’ Hall of Fame in 2000. He was also honored by Advertising Women of New York, New York Women in Communications and the National Women’s Political Caucus for his commitment to coverage of women’s issues.
