Celebrating 125 Years: National Geographic's Pioneering Women Photographers
A new exhibit at the National Geographic Museum in Washington, D.C. highlights the work of women photographers at National Geographic magazine, as the title celebrates 125 years of publication.

"We're trying to put deep reporting in Newsweek and more news in Newsweek," said the 55-year-old during a phone interview, in which he characterized his mandate thusly: "Turning Newsweek back into an indispensable read, not an optional read."

LIFE Magazine Photographer Bill Eppridge, 1938-2013
Eppridge, 75, died Thursday in a Danbury, Conn. hospital after a short illness, according to his wife, Adrienne Aurichlo.
