MPA CEO Mary Berner Kicks off Magazine Campaign to Promote Relationship with Readers
Berner has spearheaded the creation of a 76-word working statement that makes the case for magazines, next week, she'll kick off a road show with publishing companies and ad buyers to present it. First up are Hearst, Meredith and Bonnier.

MPA CEO Berner said, "It’s question of coming up with strategies that help the retailers position magazines and also to give the consumer something that makes sense." The MPA is in the process of organizing a category-wide promotion around food magazines that will launch later this spring.
