MPA – THE ASSOCIATION OF MAGAZINE MEDIA LAUNCHES “MPA NEXT” TO CREATE A PROFESSIONAL COMMUNITY FOR EMERGING MAGAZINE MEDIA EXECUTIVES
NEW YORK, NY – September 6, 2016 – MPA – The Association of Magazine Media today announced the formation of MPA Next, a community for up-and-coming professionals in the magazine media industry. MPA Next will serve as a forum for junior-level executives in non-editorial positions, reaching out to its members with educational and networking events.

Projected events for MPA Next include:
- Professional workshops led by luminaries in the magazine industry
- Lectures covering a range of relevant topics
- Fluid, open forums to keep up with media needs and social trends
- Media mixers and networking receptions
Membership is open to dedicated, junior-level professionals in non-editorial positions such as business development, advertising sales, marketing, public relations and corporate functions.
