Bringing together independent magazine media leaders from around the country, the 12th Annual IMAG Conference paid homage to the spirit of community with its theme, Golden Gateways: Connecting Brands with Believers. Hosted by the IMAG Board and chaired by Dwell President and CEO, Michela O'Connor Abrams, the conference offered invaluable insight into in connecting brands to consumers and converging commerce, content and community.

MPA Biennial Research Symposium 2015 Recap
MPA’s Biennial Research Symposium featured groundbreaking material from this year’s Print and Digital Research Forum (PDRF) in London. Select papers were presented on December 3, 2015 at Hearst Tower in New York City and covered a variety of topics including cross-platform advertising, digital audience measurement and the brain’s response to print media.
Mobile Matters Recap
On November 5, 2015, Mobile Matters showcased prominent magazine and technology leaders spearheading the fast-growing movement to mobile media. Speakers offered valuable insight on ways to increase audience engagement and content-monetization, and addressed mobile technology beyond cellphones like wearables and virtual reality.
As magazine media become increasingly data-driven and automated, there are structural changes and a reordering of ad sales and marketing strategies, metrics, workflow and processes – ultimately affecting how we as an industry generate ad revenue across the media ecosystem. On June 18, Programmania showcased leaders in magazine media and their technology partners by giving the audience tips, insights and new resources immediately applicable to their own business agendas.
IMAG 2015 Conference Recap
Independent magazine media executives gathered in Boulder, CO, from May 18 - 20 for the 2015 Annual IMAG Conference. Designed to explore and celebrate the unique opportunities facing independent and enthusiast brands today, the meeting featured keynote speeces, panel discussions, peer-to-peer discussion groups...and plenty of good time for sharing stories and enjoying each other's company.
Swipe 2.0 2013 Conference Highlights
Swipe 2.0, now in its second year and held March 28 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City, is the only digital conference devoted exclusively to Magazine Media. It was the scene for breaking developments, product unveilings and insightful case studies from leading media companies and their technology partners. Digital Dinner Series 2012
The dinner series table@45ROCK was inaugurated in April of 2011. The goal is to provide a monthly forum for leading innovative magazine media pros to convene and share the challenges and successes of creating & curating cross-platform content for tablets and smartphones.
Postal Summit 2012 Highlights
MPA's first ever Postal Summit was held Feb. 2, 2012, at Hearst Tower and drew a sold-out audience of 110 executives. The half-day gathering was created to provide an insider view on the future of a diminished U.S. Postal Service, its impact on the magazine industry and how publishers might cope with some of these changes.
