The MPA Research CommitteeThe MPA Research Committee consists of professionals who manage the research function at MPA-member companies. The Committee reviews the latest developments and trends in the measurement of magazine audiences, and in documenting the effectiveness of magazine advertising.
These Research Committee meetings, held monthly from September through June, often feature industry experts as guest speakers, as well as provide an open forum for discussion. Recently featured presenters include the MPA Reader Experience study conducted by Northwestern University; What’s New in Advertising Recall Research presented by three companies; Equifax featuring a potential syndicated automotive study; review of Worldwide Readership Research Symposium best papers, and agency panel discussions on magazine research issues.
If anyone involved in research at an MPA domestic-member company is interested in joining the MPA Research Committee, please contact Wayne Eadie, SVP/Research at weadie@magazine.org.
